- 100% Doctor and Staff vaccination rate
- Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- COVID-19 screening on arrival
- Hygiene and social distancing policies
- Pre-screening all patients before making a booking
Feeling Unwell
If you are not feeling well with any cold or flu-like symptoms or have any questions about your upcoming procedure or treatment, please contact your doctor and relevant Adora Day Surgery.
Please contact the relevant day surgery and your doctor before your scheduled appointment if you have any of the following as your surgery may need to be deferred:
- Displaying any COVID-19 symptoms
- A confirmed close contact
- Quarantined as a confirmed COVID positive case
- Awaiting a COVID-19 test result
Masks
On arrival, please wear a surgical mask. Do not wear a cloth mask.
Vic Patients
Due to the evolving situation, these protocols outlined below are subject to change. We encourage you to contact either your treating doctor or relevant hospital to confirm specific requirements.
Prior to admission:
- All patients will undergo a COVID-19 risk assessment with our staff
- All patients will need to advise their vaccination status
When a PCR test is required:
- PCR test is not currently required prior to admission
When a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) is required:
- All patients must complete a RAT test on arrival to the facility. This is performed by a member of our team and the patient waits outside the facility until the result is evident.
- Any patient who is symptomatic must complete a RAT test and contact their doctor or hospital with the result prior to admission.
All patients are required wear level one surgical masks. Please do not wear a cloth mask.
Patient Visitors
We encourage relatives/carers waiting for patients to remain outdoors and off site until the patient is ready for discharge to maintain social distancing and reduce the number of visitors and patients we have on-site. Exceptions to this rule are for children under 18 years of age or a patient with a disability, in which case their accompanying person must be vaccinated.
