Our Quality and Safety Measures
A proactive and collaborative approach is taken, placing the emphasis on prevention, to assist Adora Day Surgeries in providing the safest possible environment for consumers, staff, accredited medical officers and visitors.
Adora Day Surgeries has the following programs to support evidence-based, best practice that is patient centred:
- An internal audit programs for both clinical and non-clinical practices and processes with a particular focus on infection prevention and control
- Utilises the Australian Hospital Patient Experience Question Set which has been endorsed by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care for measuring patient satisfaction
- Encourages consumers to partner with Adora Day Surgeries through multiple avenues including the Consumer Advisory Committee
- Credentialing of Accredited Medical Officers as well as ongoing professional development for all members of the workforce
- Collection, monitoring, analysis and reporting of clinical indicator data to Medical and Consumer Advisory Committees
